Biography:
My research interests include the development of chemical sensors
and sensors related devices for the oil industry, pollution
control, and harsh environments applications. The title of my MSE
degree thesis is "Ionizing Radiation Resistance of Random Hole
Optical Fiber for Nuclear Instrumentation and Control Applications." The
title of my EE degree thesis is “Miniature
gas sensing device based on near-infrared spectroscopy”. I’m
currently pursuing a research on the development of MEMS based preconcentrators for chemical sensing applications as a part of my
PhD degree. I’m also affiliated with the International Society for
Optical Engineering (SPIE), the Institute of Electrical and
Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Optical Society of America (OSA),
American Nuclear Society (ANS), and
Tau Beta Pi, National Engineering Honor Society.
