ECE 6444 Advanced Topics in Controls (3C)

Advanced topics of current interest in control theory. May be repeated.

What is the reason for this course?

This course gives the flexibility of teaching state-of-the-art subject matter in control systems, which may not be appropriate as a regular course offering. As such it also provides visiting experts the opportunity to teach the students a highly specialized course for credit that would not otherwise be possible.

Program Area: Systems/Controls.

Prerequisites: Prerequisites: Graduate standing.

Why are these prerequisites or corequisites required?

Exact prerequisites will vary depending on the topic being taught. The prerequisites will include at least one 5000-level course to reflect the nature of possible topics taught and the fact that topics will usually require background from one or more graduate courses.
