CPES Shifts Seminar to Spring, Coinciding With NSF Site Visit
In 2001, the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) Annual Seminar, NSF site visit, and industry annual review have been combined into a single event, to be held each spring. The first combined event, on April 23-26, attracted 249 participants, including industry representatives from 47 companies and 8 countries as well as students, visiting scholars, faculty, and staff members from the five CPES partner universities: Virginia Tech, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, North Carolina A&T State University, and University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. |
